Create and edit a project plan

You can create a project plan if you are the project manager or have permissions to edit the project plan. To do this, open the project card and go to the Project Schedule tab. Further actions depend on whether the project is based on a specific type or not:

  1. If the project is not template-based, click Create Plan. Then add project plan tasks and define relationships between them.
  2. In a template-based project, you will see a plan copied from the project type template. Click Edit to update it. Modify the task list, timelines, and assignees.

The plan will be available for editing either within the tab or in a separate window, depending on the settings configured by the administrator.

Using the toolbar above the plan, you can:

  1. Save and publish the plan.

If versioning is enabled for the project type, saving changes to a published plan will create a new draft. You will be able to track the plan’s change history and work with its versions.
