To configure the external portal in the Customer Service solution, you can use:
- The Customer Service Settings page, where the system administrator can set the portal appearance and configure feedback collection.
- The Onboarding directory, which allows you to create step-by-step instructions for new portal users.
Also, you can post useful information on the portal by filling out the Articles and News directories.
Customer Service Settings page
This page contains four tabs that are used to configure the portal.
General tab
On this tab, configure settings for collecting customer feedback:
- Feedback form link. Specify the feedback form URL address so that customer reviews are recorded in the Reviews directory.
- Feedback waiting time. This is the period after which the request will be closed without receiving feedback from the customer.

Portal tab
Customize the portal appearance to match your company’s corporate style:
- Upload your logo.
- Change the page title and welcome text.
- Add your company name, which will be visible to internal users.
- Add a banner.
- Set your brand colors.
On this tab, you can also add LiveChat, which is an online chat for communicating with customers on the portal. For more information, see the Place LiveChat on an external portal article.
Additionally, you can change the portal login page appearance and configure authorization settings. For more information, see the Configure the portal login page article.
Portal Onboarding tab
Set the order in which pages with introductory information from the Onboarding directory are displayed. New users will see them when they log in to the portal. To do this:
- Click the Edit button.
- In the table that opens, arrange the pages in the desired order:
- In the left column, specify the sequential number of the page display for the user.
- In the right column, select the Onboarding directory item from the list.
Feedback Form tab
Set up a form for collecting customer feedback. For more information, see the Configure the feedback form in the Customer Service solution article.
Onboarding directory
Create pages with introductory information that customers will see when they first visit the portal.
Click the +Onboarding button. Enter a title, description, and add an image.
After saving the pages, set the order in which they will be displayed on the Customer Service Settings > Portal Onboarding page.
