Font settings

Uploaded files may use fonts not installed in BRIX. In this case, the document text may display incorrectly when viewed or converted to .pdf.

To resolve this issue, upload the required fonts to the system.

The installation of custom fonts is available in the BRIX On-Premises version. Only a system administrator can configure fonts.

To install custom fonts:

  1. Go to Administration > Home.
  2. In the Document Management section, select Font Settings.
  3. In the Fonts field, upload the desired .ttf font file.
  4. Restart the aspose-actions service to apply the font for document display.

Recommendations:

  • Always upload the latest version of the font. If a newer version of the font is already present in the system, your version will not be applied.
  • Import only the necessary fonts. Font files can occupy a significant amount of system memory.
  • Alternatively, you can embed the editor fonts into the document file during preparation. For more details, refer to the official documentation of the text editor you are using. Once uploaded, the document will display correctly in the system.
