During a business process, you can restore a project that has been archived using the Restore from Archive block. It is used in the preconfigured process within the Projects app. By default, the process starts when a user clicks the Reopen button on the page of a project with the Completed status.
You can also use this block in a custom business process. Place it at the step where the project needs to be restored, for example, after assigning a task to the project manager to make the corresponding decision.
Restore from Archive activity settings
- Create an App type variable in the process context and link it to the Projects app. During the process, the item of the Projects app that needs to be restored will be written to this variable.
- Drag the Restore from Archive activity to the process diagram, and open its settings.
- On the General tab, specify the variable created in step 1.
- On the Description tab, enter service information about how the block works for employees who are designing the process.
