Project page

The project page is made up of widgets.

  • About the Project. This widget displays the data filled in when creating the project, as well as its status. Here you can open the current project plan and its previous versions. For employees with the permission to edit the project, the Edit Project button is available at the bottom of the page. It allows you to change the information in the About the Project widget. The system administrator can also display the Edit button directly in the About the Project widget. To edit access permissions, clicklock-icon.
  • Project Activity Stream. Here you can discuss the project with your teammates. Also, all the system notifications regarding the project are displayed here. To learn more, see Associated activity stream.
  • Gantt Chart. Here the project managers can create or edit the project plan, send it for approval, or publish it. In the bottom right corner, the current plan status is shown. Task executors can view and close tasks assigned to them or change the progress percentage. To learn more, see Project plan.
  • Project files. In this widget, you can add project-related documents, group them into folders, and perform other actions with files. To learn more, see Project files.
  • My Project Tasks. Here employees can see their active tasks in the current project.
  • All Project milestones. This widget is available if the system administrator has added it to the project page form. In this widget, you can view your tasks of the Milestones type for the current project.
The list of tasks in the My Project Tasks and Project milestones widgets can be configured. For example, display tasks of all projects you are a member of or only overdue ones. Read more about this in the Manage project plan tasks article.

The administrator can edit the layout of the project page, add more widgets, and create custom fields. To learn more, see Set up the Projects workspace.

If the project information is quite extensive, each widget on its page can be placed on a separate tab. In this case, it is also convenient to display the Project board widget, which allows you to monitor the project task execution on the Kanban board and add the necessary statuses for the tasks of a particular project. Read more about it in Project task board.

Actions on the project page

The following actions on the project page are available for employees who have been granted access to edit the project by the system administrator:

  • Edit Project. Change the information that is displayed in the About the Project widget.
  • Archive. Archive the project with the In progress status. The project will be assigned the Archived status.
  • Send Back. Restart work with an archived project. In this case, the project status will change to Draft.

The system administrator can change the project lifecycle settings and the set of actions on its page.

You can subscribe to a project to receive notifications from its activity stream. To do this, click the subscribe-to-the-application icon in the upper right corner of the page.
