Price list types and price lists

The Price List Types and Price Lists apps are used to define the cost of services. They are filled in by the system administrator or a responsible employee.

In the ServiceDesk workspace, these apps are located in the Directories block.

Price List Types

This directory is used to create and store groups for organizing price lists. Price list types differ based on the services provided by the company.

The type is specified when creating a price list for a particular service.

To add a new item to the app, click the + Price List Type button. In the window that opens, enter the name and click Save.

Price Lists

This app is used to configure the pricing of services offered by the company. A price list is used when creating a contract to specify the cost of a service.

If you use standard pricing and don’t plan to change it, you can create a price list in advance and attach it to all contracts for a given service.

If the service price depends on individual agreements and work conditions, the price list can be created while filling in the contract.

To create a price list:

  • In the contract page, click the + Create button next to the Price list field.
  • Or go to the Price Lists directory page and click the + Price List button.

Fill in the following fields:

  • Name*. Enter the name of the price list.
  • Price list type*. Select a price list type from the directory.
  • Cost*. Specify the cost of the service.
  • Service*. Select the service being provided.

Click Save.
