Project board

The widget displays associated project tasks on the project page in the form of a Kanban board where tasks are sorted by their statuses.

The project manager can add the necessary task statuses directly on the project page according to the project specification. This helps to quickly find and monitor high-priority tasks. Read more about the widget in Project task board.

Configure the project page and widget

The page with the Project board widget can be configured by the system administrator. The widget is better to be placed on a separate tab of the page. To do this:

1. Open the view form of the Projects app or apps with the project type in interface designer.
2. Add the Tabs widget to the modeling canvas.

3. Configure the tabs, for example, About the project, Project Activity Stream, Project Plan, Documents, and Task Board.

4. Move the widgets that are placed on the page form by default to the corresponding tabs. For example, move the Project folder widget to the Documents tab.

5. Add the Project Board widget to the Task Board tab.

6. If necessary, set the system widget settings.

7. Save and publish the view form.

After that, the project manager can proceed to set up the project task statuses on the project page.
