Delete a process instance

You can delete a process instance with the status Interrupted, Completed, or Archived. After that, the instance information will no longer be displayed in the system.

Tasks assigned to users within the process are removed from the list of completed tasks in the Tasks workspace.

Important: This option is available starting from version 2026.3 and higher after enabling the processor_enable_instanceDeletion  feature flag. For more information about enabling feature flags in the On-Premises version, see Modify BRIX parameters. If you are using the SaaS version, please contact your BRIX account rep.

  1. Go to Administration.
  2. Open the process list depending on the status of the instance you want to delete:
  • Interrupted or completed instance: on the Process Monitor page, select the required process;
  • Archived instance: open the Archiving of Process Instances page (if this feature is enabled in your company). On the History tab, find the process and go to the list of archived instances.
  1. Open the instance page and click Delete Permanently.
