Activities

This directory is used for creating and storing employee activity types during the work process.

Please note that it differs from the Employee Activity app. It is located in Directories and is filled out by the administrator or a responsible employee.

An activity is a type of event that takes up a certain amount of time during an employee’s working day. The activity may be related to work or leisure, but it happens during the operator’s work shift.

Throughout the day, the operator changes the activity on the main page of the ServiceDesk workspace depending on the current activity. Current and completed activities are marked in the Employee Activity app.

Activities are needed to control the alignment between the planned and actual time spent on work and rest during the working day.

To create an activity, click the +Activity button in the upper right corner of the directory. Enter a name and specify the work rate, as the activity takes place within the working time or is related to the operator’s break time.

You can also enter a color code to display the color background of the current activity on the main page.
