# Signature status

The **Signature status** widget shows information about the signature that an app item was signed with. By default, it is placed on the side panel of the app view if [e-signature](digital_signtature_in_apps.md) is set up in the app.

## Set up the widget

Open the app view form in [interface designer](interface_designer.md). Find the widget on the side panel of the form, select it, and click on the gear icon. The settings window opens:

- **Main**. Includes the following options:

	- **App item\***. The field is filled out automatically according to the app you are working with.

	- **Show signatures of deleted versions**. Enable the option to allow users to view details and **.sig** files for signatures of deleted document versions in the [app view form](digital_signtature_in_apps.md#archive).

- **Events, System**. These are [system settings](common_widget_settings.md) that are the same for all the widgets. They allow you to configure a widget’s visibility and access to its data, define what happens, when the user moves or hovers the pointer over the widget, etc.
