# Delete a process instance

You can delete a process instance with the status **Interrupted**, **Completed**, or **Archived**. After that, the instance information will no longer be displayed in the system.

Tasks assigned to users within the process are removed from the list of completed tasks in the **Tasks** workspace. If tasks were [set to appear in the executor’s calendar](360012495611.md#schedule_tab), these events will also be deleted.

**Important**: This option is available starting from version 2026.3 and higher after enabling the `processor\_enable\_instanceDeletion`  feature flag. For more information about enabling feature flags in the On-Premises version, see [Modify BRIX parameters](change-settings-enterprise.md#enable-feature-flag-enterpeise). If you are using the SaaS version, please contact your BRIX account rep.

1. Go to **Administration**.

2. Open the process list depending on the status of the instance you want to delete: 

- **Interrupted or completed instance**: on the [Process Monitor](360010403439.md#process_info) page, select the required process;

- **Archived instance**: open the [Archiving of Process Instances](process-archiving.md) page (if this feature is enabled in your company). On the **History** tab, find the process and go to the list of archived instances.

3. Open the instance page and click **Delete Permanently**.
