# Channel

This widget displays the [#Activity stream](360014162972.md) or a specific [channel](360014191132.md) on a [page](360009924451.md).

To configure the widget, click the **Add widget** button select the **Channel** widget and enter the settings in the opened window.

## Main tab

- **Show header**. Enable this option to show the header of the #Activity stream or channel;

- **Show\***. In the drop-down list select what messages will be displayed: the ones from the #**Activity stream** or from a **Channel**;

	- **Channel\***. If you chose **Channel**, click the **<Select>** link and specify the channel’s name.

## Events and System tabs

The **Events** and **System** tabs are for system settings that are the same for all the widgets. They allow you to configure a widget’s visibility and access to its data, define what happens, when the user moves or hovers the pointer over the widget, etc. Find out more in [System widget settings](common_widget_settings.md). 

To complete the settings, click **Save**. To make the changes available to users, click **Save** and **Publish** in the top toolbar.

## Use case

The case below shows how to use the **Channel** widget to display two different channels on a workspace page.
