# Create an Event-type app

To create a new calendar, do the following:

1. Open any workspace. In the left menu, click the **+Add** button.

2. In the window that opens, select **App**.

3. Enter information about the app, specify its name, and select **Event** in the **Type** field.

4. Click **Create**.

5. In the window that opens, customize the appearance of the [event page](event-element.md). By default, the form includes fields for working with the event: **Name**, **Start date**, **Due date**, **Participants**, and **External participants**.  
  
You can rename the fields, change their order, and add new properties to the form, such as phone number and email.

6. Click **Save**.

The form configured this way will open when creating, viewing, and editing an app item. If you want these forms to be different, switch to [Advanced mode](360028941032.md).

After setting up the app form, employees can begin filling out the calendar. For more information, see еру [Event app item](event-element.md) article.

To return to editing the event form:

1. Click the **[![СК\_01](hmfile_hash_e0276471.png)]** icon next to the calendar’s name or next to the selected period on the app’s top panel.

2. Select **Form Settings**. In the window that opens, edit the form.
