# Offline installation of BRIX AI

**BRIX AI** can be installed in an isolated environment (Air-Gapped) using Docker Swarm. This installation option is suitable for production environments as it allows microservices to scale as load increases. A private image registry is used for this purpose. We recommend using [Harbor](https://goharbor.io/).

To deploy **BRIX AI**:

1. Install a private image registry. For Harbor, see [Install Harbor with self-signed certificates for BRIX AI](cortex-harbor.md).
