# Download ELMA Cortex installation files

File download steps vary depending on the installation method:

## Files for installation using Docker Compose

To download and unpack the archive with installation files, run the commands:

sudo apt install -y unzip  
  
cd ~  
curl -fsSO https://dl.elma365.com/extensions/elma-cortex/latest/elma-cortex-onpremises.zip  
unzip -d ./elma-cortex elma-cortex-onpremises.zip  
  
cd ~/elma-cortex/docker-compose

Files for installation using Docker Swarm with internet access

To download and unpack the archive with installation files, run the commands:

sudo apt install -y unzip  
  
cd ~  
curl -fsSO https://dl.elma365.com/extensions/elma-cortex/latest/elma-cortex-onpremises.zip  
unzip -d ./elma-cortex elma-cortex-onpremises.zip  
  
cd ~/elma-cortex/docker-swarm

Files for installation using Docker Swarm in an offline environment

1. Download and run the script to prepare files for offline installation using the commands:

````
cd ~  
curl -fsSL -o cortex-offline-swarm.sh \\  
  https://dl.elma365.com/extensions/elma-cortex/latest/cortex-offline-swarm.sh  
chmod +x cortex-offline-swarm.sh  
./cortex-offline-swarm.sh --pull

````
If you have already downloaded and unpacked the archive, you can use the following commands by specifying the path to the `offline` folder:

````
cd ~/elma-cortex/docker-swarm/offline  
chmod +x cortex-offline-swarm.sh  
./cortex-offline-swarm.sh –pull

Wait for the download to complete. The `elma-cortex-X.Y.Z` folder will be created (where `X.Y.Z` is the version number), containing:

	- the `warm-files `folder: Docker Swarm configuration files.

	- the `images `folder: Docker images in **.tar** format.

	- the `images.txt `file: list of images.

	- the `cortex-offline-swarm.sh `file: installation script.

	- `skopeo`: image transfer tool.

	- Helper scripts for certificate management and diagnostics.
