# Digital signature providers (CryptoPro, NCA)

In BRIX, you can use **CryptoPro** and **NCA** standard modules for signing documents with a digital signature. They allow you to [sign](digital_signtature_in_apps.md) attributes of app items, [document](360009923631.md) files, and resolutions in [approval tasks](360010366380.md).

## CryptoPro

To enable the module:

1. Go to **Administration > Modules > CryptoPro**.  

2. Select a signature format from the drop-down list:

- CADES\_BES (default option).

- CADESCOM\_CADES\_T.

- CADESCOM\_CADES\_X\_LONG\_TYPE\_1.

3. For CADESCOM\_CADES\_T and CADESCOM\_CADES\_X\_LONG\_TYPE\_1 formats, specify the address of the timestamp service server.

4. Save the settings.

5. Click **Enable.**

The module requires installed [CryptoPro](https://cryptopro.ru/en) CSP software, CryptoPro Browser Plug-in, and an installed digital signature certificate. If CADESCOM\_CADES\_T and CADESCOM\_CADES\_X\_LONG\_TYPE\_1 advanced signature formats are used, the certificate must contain an indication of the OSCP service.

## NCA

To connect the module:

1.  Go to **Administration > Modules > NCA**.

2. Click **Enable**.

No additional settings are required. You need to install the [NCA](https://pki.gov.kz/en/) digital signature certificate directly for signing.
